Wikipedia is shutting down for 24 hours to protest against SOPA and PIPA.
SOPA means “Stop Online Piracy Act,” and PIPA is an acronym for the “Protect IP Act,” IP as intellectual property.
Well I haven’t read the whole bill yet but I think it is time to regulate laws all over the Internet, just like laws implemented for our speech and communication, because it is widely used nowadays. We can exchange ideas and other information we’ve gathered from others online assuring that we acknowledge them. :)
More on this after reading the proposed bill.
P.S Internet is vast, more huge than the universe. (Exaggerated!) I wonder how could they monitor every single datum in every website IF EVER? Hmmm…
